I am requesting that you stop the illegal mask mandates for your employees, now. If they are forced to wear the unhealthy, unconstitutional masks with the threat of losing their jobs if they don’t this is wrong and you should know that. Please go to http://www.americasfrontlinedoctors.com , click on the legal tab and see the letter that is composed for adults, who DO NOT have to comply with the illegal mandates. Protect your employees from Big Government overreach.

    This post makes several unsubstantiated claims.

    An employer’s mask mandate is “unconstitutional.” It is clearly no violation of the US Constitution, because it is imposed by a private business, not the government.

    The mask mandate is “Big Government overreach.” Again, the mandate is imposed by a private business, not the government.

    The mask mandate is “illegal.” I am not aware of a jurisdiction that prohibits a private business from requiring masks, as long as exceptions are made for customers with certain disabilities or medical conditioons.

    Masks are “unhealthy.” We now have strong evidence that masks significantly reduce the spread of Covid, not to mention ordinary flu — we had very few cases in this year’s flu season. In this sense, masks are healthy. They may pose a health hazard for wearers with certain medical conditions. In such cases, the employer should make special accommodations (based on utilitarian and autonomy principles) to protect coworkers from an unmasked employee, because this minimizes harm to all concerned.

    Fortunately, the new vaccines give us the means to get rid of the Covid masks, if only we get the shots.
